Pico’s Puppet Palace is hand-made from mostly re-purposed materials. Suitable for ages 4-8 (roughly) and for the child at heart. Accompanied by a live musical score the shows have environmental themes and are interactive. Each show is a chapter of Pico’s adventures.
August 17th 10am – 12pm. FREE Family Drop-In. We will also being exchanging reading records for medals and certificates.
Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm, Ages 6 – 12. Books, Crafts, Games, Songs.
Downstairs in the Children’s Library. The program is Free and Drop In so no registration is required. Certain special events and field trips will require registration as space is limited.

Summer Reading Club is taking a Walk on the Wild Side this July and August!
Join us at the library EVERY THURSDAY starting July 6 until August 24 for FREE drop-in activities. This program is geared for students entering Gr. 1- Gr. 5.
AND there will be a chance to receive a LEGO Mini Figure!
How you ask?
SRC is developed to encourage kids to keep up their reading through the summer by tracking their reading in an SRC reading log. Kids who bring in their first completed log to the Invermere Library will receive a LEGO Mini Figure, while supplies last. For every log completed after that, there is a special prize bucket that our summer readers can choose from!

July 11-14 : Explora the Flora – Plants, trees and flowers!
July 18-21 : Spot Nature’s Magic – Seasons, camouflage, and metamorphosis!
July 25-28 : Beautiful British Columbia – Mountains, valleys and parks!
Aug 8-11 : Weather Watchers – Clouds, rain and snow!
Aug 15-18 : Go Fish! – Sealife, shorelines and fish!
Aug 22-25 : Tales of Nature – Nature traditions and legends!
Camp runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 1 to 3 pm
